  • It is neat to see the examples of lace products. But the best bit is to go to the workrooms in the school and see people demonstrate lace making. They are very friendly and (deservedly) proud of their work. There were some old ladies with arthritic hands who could still manipulate the bobbins faster than I could follow! It takes an hour out so to go through and is definitely worth the effort.
  • Really great museum on lace making, and all the more fascinating seeing the lace being painstakingly made by hand.
  • Great Grandma as if they were playing the piano
