  • We popped in for the brewery tour on a quiet weekday and it was a lovely experience. The only thing that came close to a negative was the first member of bar staff we spoke to when we asked about the ...  more »
  • Good drink stop. Unfortunately we didn't have time to do the tour of the brewery but heard others say was good and is €9 which includes a glass of beer so definitely worth it
  • I've been dragged round many brewery tours thanks to my partner's love of ale, and this one scores highly. We may have been lucky to get a fabulous tour guide (female, multi lingual, very humorous) wh...  more »

  • Fantastic history and some beautiful views encompass a visit to this brewery. Tours are available in a number of languages including English, and staff members were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Pros: Delicious beer and friendly staff. The only brewery tour I've ever been on with a stop up on the roof of the brewery, which offers some nice views of the city center. Cons: The brewery is small and vertical so there are 200 or so stairs to climb along the tour. Also, it can get a bit warm in a few locations along the tour, so you might want to bring along a bottle of water. The day I visited was mid-70s (F) outside but was closer to 90s in a couple of areas in the brewery. All in all, a highly recommended experience. Try the Straffe Hendrik if you like good Belgian Quads!
  • REALLY glad we came here. The vibe here is great, they have inside and outside seating, the beers are delicious, and affordable. They have food, but we didn't eat. They also have a beer that is available only at the brewery. While visiting Brugge, I highly recommend you come here. They do have a brewery tour, but it was a bit pricey... In the States brewery tours are usually free. That is not the case in Europe. Cheers!
  • De Halve Maan makes some excellent beers including Brugse Zot and Straffe Hendrik, which are fantastic and delicious beers. The brewery tour is detailed, interesting, and stewarded by an excellent set of completely multilingual guides. I highly recommend taking the tour and trying some beer on a visit to Brugge.
  • Only went there to taste the beer, no visit of the brewery. Outside they offer 4 beers on tap and a bunch of bottled ones. The beer is great but it is a very hectic place and it's hard to enjoy your stay/beer.
  • Very informative. Cute small brewery, very nice guide. Take about an hour and you get a beer at the end, but it's not the best of beers, even theirs.
