Reconstructions are very well made and the film. However the story told is frankly devoid of any interest and especially does not tell us much about the medieval Bruges. A bluette to rose water... I expect information about life in Bruges in the middle ages. These are present, but after the "virtual" tour. I wish for. But there is a good effort to interest the children and younger and you can enjoy a nice view of the market place. And the written explanations are really in all languages and not only french, Dutch and English. Bravo for that.

An interactive museum where you on the basis of a love story a bit of an impression of life in Bruges around the 15th century. You're passing through different rooms by means of a time slot open. At last there is still a small exhibition about Bruges. From here you can also the balcony from which you have a beautiful view of the market. The latter can also from the in-house Duvelorium, the only duvelcafé in the world. The virtual reality tour on the end is highly recommended. Tip: combined ticket: entrance-virtual reality tour-consumption in Duvelorium.

I was here with my son very nicely done and surprising. But the price has it already. Quiet some time can go, was very interesting. We well liked and well worth anyway :-)

Felt like a tourist trap. You think it's going to be an excellent video tour of the history of Bruges, but instead it is an excellent video series of a love story between two people and two parrots. This was a huge letdown. The exhibition at the end is decent, but wish more of that info had been in the videos.. the view at the top is phenomenal and the drink hall at the end looked like fun!

I went on a weekday in September. I was the only one doing the tour. Something about doing this completely alone added to the experience. It's a made believe story but is based on historical facts and if you are not too picky it does feel at times as if you have gone back in time.

Enjoyed the interactive and multimedia feel of this museum where history is shown using fictional characters. The setting and backdrop were nicely done to recreate the feel, and make you feel as if you were part of history back then. Wish we could stay longer (we had to rush as we were catching the train back to Amsterdam!). Definitely recommended.
