  • I looked long and hard to find the best chocolatier in Bruges, I think this is it! It is a small shop located in the bottom floor. The chocolates are beautifully displayed, perfect place to get gifts....  more »
  • We bought a few boxes of chocolates here and wished we had bought more. Much cheaper than Brussels (our next stop). I could not complain about the service, as mentioned in the other reviews, but we we...  more »
  • Was to die for! Absolutely delicious and for 5 Euros an absolute bargain! Wish I had bought more to bring home!  more »

  • Rudest staff I encountered in the whole of Belgium!!! While the chocolates are of course the highest quality the staff will treat any English speaker with science and make you feel so unwanted. They have signs everywhere (in improper English) to not touch the chocolates so I politely asked what was on top of one of the chocolate blocks. The rude woman said can't you see it's plain in front of your eyes, and after a pause launched into a rude explanation and even said and that one is coconut you probably don't even know!! I was buying chocolates for my mother otherwise I would have left with a comment as I was leaving. The customer service towards me was awful although they were kind to a French man before me....
  • Delicious chocolates! Brought some home for myself and friends. The shop owner did a great job of helping me pick out a few favourites. I wish they had more white chocolate stuff available ready to go - ended up buying a big chunk of it - which tasted great, but was tricky to cut up and eat. But I would definitely go back for more.
  • Good chocolate for reasonable price. Also a very cute little shop. Though very disappointed during visit since the owner was not service minded at all. "From the girl who just wanted to make her own chocolate box"
  • We had a horrible experience at this store. Based on the Google reviews we couldn't wait to visit this store and had high expectations. When we came in, the ladies working at the store didn't really pay much attention to us and were too busy chatting. After they finally noticed us they mostly wanted to rush things. Questions we asked about certain chocolates were answered with a bored look and an uninterested answer. Example: "what kind is this chocolate?". Answer: "that's chocolate". We decided to go for a 250 grams box and, based on the display of chocolates in the store, thought we could pick our own chocolates. But that was not the case. They would not allow us to pick any chocolates as it would apparently take too long. A different customer in the store -was- picking chocolates though, apparently being allowed because she's been there before. Instead, they grabbed a pre-made box of chocolates and gave it to us with an annoyed look in their faces. I'm sure the chocolate is good but the customer service is horrible. There are dozens of lovely chocolate stores in Bruges with very friendly people so we suggest finding a different place.
  • Poor customer service! If you want to buy dumon, don't go into the oldest shop. It is run by the old lady herself and she is very arrogant and doesn't attend properly unless you are buying in kg. I asked her that I will like to know the different flavors that you have and will like to choose some of them. She said you will have to buy the box and didn't offer me the freedom to choose my own flavors. The other two shops are run by younger generation and they are way nicer. Also, the manufacturing is done at the same place outside bruge, so you will not be missing out on anything.
