  • On the first floor of the Museum, works by Sir Frank William Brangwyn (May 12, 1867 - June 11, 1956), a painter, engraver and Decorator British born in Bruges. A quite remarkable work, drawings and engravings in N/B to a power and a few examples of his work of decorator surprising. On the ground floor, works of contemporary artists who can't resist the comparison with what I discovered on the first floor. The entrance to this small museum is combined with that of the Groeninge Museum where you can see beautiful Flemish primitives (including Bosch, Memling, Van Eyck) and in the modern section of the important Expressionists as Constant Permeke and Gustave de Smet. Two visits, Groeningemuseum and Arentshuis, which are in my view essential for art lovers.
