On the site of the ruins of Cistercian Cambron Abbey, Pairi Daiza is a privately owned botanical garden and zoo. Across 55 hectares (140 acres), several themed gardens represent different parts of the world. Wander through the Chinese-themed buildings and plants of the Chinese garden, home to cranes, red pandas, and muntjak. In the Kingdom of Ganesha, discover Indonesian plant life, temples, and Sumatran elephants. Catch sightings of giraffes, zebras, flamingos, and bison from aboard the garden's train. Visit the oasis greenhouse full of tropical plants, such as bamboo, banana trees, and hibiscus, as well as meerkats, giant turtles, and crocodiles. • I had a hell of a season and it's not over yet! The park is beautiful and clean. The animals are cared for with small onions by passionate healers!

  • Very pleasant visit to this magical place for those who love animals and beautiful green spaces created with a lot of style and taste. For me, the ideal would be that the cafétaria of the oasis is accessible all the time, this is the only negative that I report from my regular visits to Pairi Daiza.

  • No complaints, for a day or a few hours it's always a pleasure to come. We'll be back next year.

  • Great place to visit. Probably the most beautiful zoo in Europe. It is and amazing journey through the world. So many different species, so many beautiful Buildings and enclosures. Super friendly staff. Different possibilities to eat. You van ride the train. And very soon a whole new world Will be revealed ( british Colombia, "hotel" included.
  • This is without doubt the best animal park/zoo I've ever visited. There's so much to see and experience. Not only a large variety of beautiful animals, but every corner of this park has been decorated with a high level of artistic detail. Unfortunately there's still a lot of French only signs, staff, and teleprompter messages, not tourist friendly on that front. Visiting this park with my family was an amazing experience, this is a little paradise within Belgium.
  • Definitely the best zoo in the world where you can get up close and personal with all of the animals. Great themes throughout and great facilities. A must if in the region.
  • Fantastic zoo. Very family friendly. Lots of variety in the types of animals. Lots of food and drink options. They sell wine and beer. Be careful, the monkeys bite.
  • Best zoo I've ever been in, by far. It's very large. The animals are well-cared for, and have a decent amount of space.
