Wander through the Chinese-themed buildings and plants of the Chinese garden, home to cranes, red pandas, and muntjak. In the Kingdom of Ganesha, discover Indonesian plant life, temples, and Sumatran elephants. Catch sightings of giraffes, zebras, flamingos, and bison from aboard the garden's train. • This has to be the very best zoo I have ever visited. Layout is thoughtful in that there are genuine indigenous buildings associated with each part of the world where the animals come from. Highlight ...  more »

  • It is a great zoo in which every detail is very well thought of. Each part of the park, it makes you feel the cultural and geographical atmosphere of each region. It is also very tidy and clean.  more »

  • A very nice and cosy zoo, they put a lot of thought in the decor. They claim in multiple spots that it consists of saved animals, which is more then excellent! But I can't undo the feeling I got while walking that I don't really get to see the animals. To much decor, to less animal viewing...
  • Expensive, but better than any zoo we've been to previously in UK. A little too much for a leisurely day and would suggest going out of season as would not be as enjoyable with summer crowds. Large, natural enclosures for animals and nearly all were awake, alert and moving around. Rope bridges excellent...H&S in UK probably wouldn't allow due to inherent idiot factor and growing yob culture. But i am getting older! Get there early!
  • Love the place! Make sure you have plenty of water with you and good walking shoes. The Parc is big for small children and elderly so please do take necessary precautions. The parc wants to be the European refuge for all elephants and they are on a good way toward that.
  • Best zoo I've visited! The pandas, gorillas and bats are amazing and the landscaping is exquisite throughout. Much more than just animal exhibits!
  • Great place for a day trip if you love animals and nature. This is so much more than a zoo, it's a super nice park, inspired by big monuments around the world (Summer palace China, temples in Thailand,...). The nicest zoo I have been to. Try to avoid the weekends or school holidays because the place gets crowded. Tickets are pricey (29€ if ordered online, 34€ on the spot + 7€ for the car park). Having said that, if you see what you get, it's worth it. Lots of picknick areas to rest and to eat your own food.
