SEA LIFE Blankenberge, Blankenberge

Categories: Zoos & Aquariums, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
2.7/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web
With feeding times every hour, there are plenty of opportunities at SEA LIFE Blankenberge to see the animals in action. The shark tunnel puts you in the center of the predator's world. While the sharks get your adrenaline pumping, 49 other aquariums house more docile creatures of the sea. A seahorse breeding program has helped fill a tank with the delicate creatures, and playful seals make faces at you from their tank. For an extra fee you can take a photo with the seals in their home under the supervision of a staff member, but you must bring your own camera. Purchase tickets online for a discount on admission. • Right on the sea, you can see that Sealife is more than just an amusement park. During our visit, there were 5 young to see injured seals in the animal hospital. 6 more were probably separated in one part. For the same money you get only half in Germany. If you like SeaLife, should take a look! In the hotel for tickets ask, we got cheaper tickets in our!

  • its not big but visiting is worthy with kids . seedog are big point of this center
  • Good to spend about two hours of exploring, it looks a lot bigger on the map. Staff is friendly, entrance fee is rather high, better buy online to save some money.
  • Nice place for the visit but unfortunately everything was in Dutch or French.
  • Quite run down with poor range of attractions. Good for 2-3 hours at the most
  • Small fish tanks, dirty seal-tank glasses and high prices (plus parking fee). In case the visitors have noticed that, they play a mini golf game outside (sea-animals and minigolf - of course) to get over that. The kids might like it, but only they do not know better places. The parents need time to recover and pay what's asked for. Sealife is aiming to maximise benefits, it is not a zoo.
