SEA LIFE Blankenberge, Blankenberge

(460+ reviews on the web)
Zoo / Aquarium
With feeding times every hour, there are plenty of opportunities at SEA LIFE Blankenberge to see the animals in action. The shark tunnel puts you in the center of the predator's world. While the sharks get your adrenaline pumping, 49 other aquariums house more docile creatures of the sea. A seahorse breeding program has helped fill a tank with the delicate creatures, and playful seals make faces at you from their tank. For an extra fee you can take a photo with the seals in their home under the supervision of a staff member, but you must bring your own camera. Purchase tickets online for a discount on admission. • The park can a treaties. Educational (visit by schools) this park is a must. The Captivate children and shows the diversity of fishing etc is interesting. The area of the park is quite limited, making everything fairly fast streams. Staff is helpful. The biggest plus of Sea Life is caring for seals in the shelter

  • The park is small, very small, on an hour you have seen everything and then the price is really expensive, but I consoled myself with the thought that we sponsor it for nature conservation (saving seals, breeding programmes). But to then find that the outdoor space and outdoor full animal shelters with plastic grass you wonder if they haven't heard of plastic soup? They are also these particles that end up in the sea, a vicieuse circle. And I was shocked again when there is clear evidence of herbicides use on the little nature that there are still in the park is!!! Horsetail is just about the only thing that but continues to grow, perhaps is that again the excuse to continue to spray? A shame!

  • Kids are always amazed by the world of fish. A nice place where to spend a little time with your family.

  • Enjoyed it here. Fun for whole family. It's not very big so you'll probably have seen everything in two hours at the most. The otters are otterly adorable.
  • Wonderful place to see a lot of the current sea life but way to small. With a child pausing 5 minutes at each different animal, then you are through in under an hour. So worth the money if you really like the sea and it's inhabitants otherwise best to visit something else;
  • Great place for both humans and animals. Both treated very well.
  • its not big but visiting is worthy with kids . seedog are big point of this center
  • Good to spend about two hours of exploring, it looks a lot bigger on the map. Staff is friendly, entrance fee is rather high, better buy online to save some money.
