  • It's free, exciting, the guide knows the subject on the tips of the fingers and can tell us dozens of anecdotes about the history of this battle. Reconstructions are very well done and for lovers collection of vehicles of war 2 is impressive. What can I say?

  • Guided military tour was interesting. The guides speak multiple languages (Dutch/French/English). They're good at explaining things. There were a lot of waiting for some of the participants in my group (Almoust an hour total at the vehicle showcase garages). Guided visit takes about 2 hours. It's free, so definitely worth a visit. Lots of lots of WW2 -> cold war vehicles. + For having a real German Tiger II tank! - For a lot of waiting for my group. Guards should be a little stricter with the clock.
  • Remarkable in its historical value and fantastic tank collection. I left impressed. The people maintaining the place are passionate. I recommend this.
  • I joined the first guided tour and the first part around the historical rooms, displayed items and weapons was excellent. Our great and entertaibing guide showed an amazing knowledge and insight of events, facts and details, and managed to deliver the tour on both french and English in a excellent and natural way, repeating questions and answers in both languages. Thank you very much for a extraordinary treat 😊 👍 The second part was a walk around the garages of restored tanks, trucks, cannons and equipment. The displays in the garages was very interesting, but despite requests, the second guide did not present the tour in english, but solely entertained the french-speaking half of the group, leaving the the rest of us to make our own experience. Sorry, but that doesn't work for me, and the Dutch participants also didn't seem very impressed of this approach. If the second half of the tour also included English, I would definitely rate this all 5 stars.
  • Take a tour of the barracks with an active duty Belgian soldier. See the headquarters where General McAuliffe famously replied "Nuts" to the German commander demanding his surrender. They also restore tanks here and have a huge collection. In certain days you can observe restoration work being performed. It's all free too.
  • Your was free. It last about 2 hours. The guy who gave the tour really new his stuff. Cool to experience the history here.
