  • Very nice all brick and architectural stone of the country. Place of recollection but also of relaxation with a store and a friendly place to eat or drink: the snack.

  • The place is very nice, friendly, with a relaxing. It can be a stroll in the garden before landing on a table to drink a beer.

  • Beware, the visit of the Abbey was possible only after 15:00. Except for the Church and the shop of course!

  • Nice abbey, with also a lovely park around. If you menage to go there at 13:30, there is a guided tour that it's good. Close by you can find a nice resturant to taste beer and local specialities
  • Was also a very nice place 15 years ago. We were there several times during our years I Belgium. Have some of the best Belgien beers 😄
  • A peaceful place with great beer! You can visit the Abbey and the park before tasting the famous beer with the cheese of the same name. The architecture of the Abbey and the other buildings is also impressive. Don't hesitate to visit it!
  • Great place for some Belgian Ale and cheese.
  • A cistercian monastery with a great park. If the basilic is open to the public, the inner courtyard has a limited access with one guided tour per week only. Val Dieu is also a brewery where the monks used to produce one of the most famous belgian beers. Enjoy one of them and a piece of Val Dieu cheese at the local restaurant.
