  • I know that Lizochka buys chocolate for themselves from Pierre Marcolini, but ... Oh. as it is not right! Chocolate Dominique Persoone is a lot more I liked, and I dread what the discerning of chocolate. Be sure to visit! May be expensive, but tastes wonderful, buy at least a bar of chocolate, it costs less than 5 euro! Very tasty!

  • Antwerp? Chocolate! And if you want to go in high company, then a visit to the chocolate Line of master chocolatier Dominique Persoone certainly on your list! If you're coming by train to Antwerp, then it's even on crawling distance from the main train station. Located in the former Palace of King Napoleon and oh boy what great to there to step in and the smell of chocolate you. The operation is what stiff at first, not really talkative, friendly, all the times we were there it looked like they were there not really having fun, as if they had little patience for people who are at ease from the Praline's were about to search. But it can also be a culture difference (we ourselves are Dutch). Our solution was in any case: no eye contact more searching and just our own course. You can also take a look in the kitchen, where the chocolate is prepared before your eyes! They have their own variant on our Angel kisses, which are called melochocs there. Buy with confidence but one (1.25 euros), because you have there is absolutely enough to, and you will then not fixed more back to the Dutch kissing of Baran. They have very distinct variants of chocolate: chocolate pills (really come in a drugstore-looking jar)-chocolate lipstick-chocolate shooter (a device to chocolate powder in your nose to shoot)-THICK chocolate (we have not measured, but we estimate at least 3-3, 5 cm thick) We bought there is a collection box, where basically one of each Praline in it, nice to be able to taste everything once again that way. The flavors are-if you so choose-exceptional: hemp, popping sugar, chilli, wasabi, but also for the more normal chocolate you can certainly get you started.

  • Dominique Persoone has maximized the properties and qualities of marketing chocolate. There is a view of the kitchen. There's gifts and tastes for everyone.

  • Best chocolate in town ! OK now you might think Belgium is full with good chocolate, but this place is something different and a must see when you are in Antwerp. The guy serving the chocolate was the best! Helpfull , informative and super nice. They have huge variety of chocolate and bonbons, and you can see how they make it.
  • Nice chocolate store with interesting flavors of chocolates! Cute giant chocolate frog and nice that you can see the chocolate being made in the back.
  • Nice to see the People work with the Chocolate. The Chocolate itself is a tidy expensive.
  • Good sizeable store. Has many different varieties available. Larger store than brugge. Staff are friendly and helpful
  • Location is GREAT, but their chocolate chunks by the weight from white to milk to VERY pure is a delight! Fair pricing
