Where to stay in Antwerp

Many visitors to Antwerp choose to stay in the Oude Stad neighborhood, which offers accommodations with character. The city features a wide range of lodging options including budget hostels, bed and breakfasts, private apartments, and luxury hotels. To score discounts on weekends, check out hotel chains on the city's outskirts, which cater to business travelers during the week. The area around Antwerp's central station offers the most choices. • This is a chocolate lover's dream. The business part of the chocolate making on site was formerly Napoleon's kitchen. The chocolate displays take varied forms: a red-lipped frog, a nutty squirrel, two...  more »
  • Antwerp has a strong tradition in chocolate shops but The Chocolate Line has some extra trumps: It is situated along the busiest shopping street in an authentic, beautiful palace. And it is fun: walk ...  more »
  • I really enjoyed coming in here and seeing this spot. It was nice to learn this was once the kitchen of Napoleon. The chocolate was also quite delightful.  more »

  • Years ago I had my first Chocolate Line experience in Brugge and I was thrilled when they also expanded to Antwerp as it meant I could enjoy the magic of the chocolate line when I visit there as well. Win Win! The flavors are amazing- and the shop itself is magical. Don't miss it- Not too far from Central train station in Antwerp~
  • The pralines taste amazing and are fairly priced. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and seems to know a lot about the chocolates they're making. I recommend buying one of those boxes you can fill with various pralines and chocolates from their huge display, just to experience all of them.
  • Literally the best Chocolate I have ever had! We are visiting from Chicago and hit up a few of the recommended local places. While every single one was way better than anything we have in the states, The Chocolate Line was in a league of it's own. I literally dreamt of it. The only thing I wish is that I would have bought more for my family as gifts. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Amazing!
  • Enter a palace. Check the walls. Wow, those ceilings are high. Is this really a shop? Chocolate everywhere, in all forms and shapes possible. Here you get history, you learn how those chocolates are made by checking live and you can bring some with you. All in style and in the city center of Antwerp. Nham, nham. Enjoy!
  • A reference for all chocolate lovers. From time to time new hige sculptures really amazing and made with different kind of choco flavours. Awesome for all your senses!
