  • The pedestrian tunnel is what we call it here in Antwerp, you should really even do. With the beautiful old wooden escalator down, relax by the tunnel run and then on the other hand there is a terrace sitting by the Retro cafe for a snack or a drink!

  • To be one of the oldest functioning escalators in Europe you need here are; fun to walk to the other side!

  • Only for pedestrians and cyclists. Avelo we rented bicycles from this we reach the other side, passing through the tunnel. It was so much fun.

  • A must visit while in Antwerp. Especially at night when not many people are using the Tunnel. Great place to take pictures!
  • Beautiful wooden escalators as you don't often see. Definitely worth a visit if you want to from left bank to the city center.

  • As a tourist, one must have been at least once through this tunnel.

  • Beautiful old escalators and ' long ' tunnel under the Scheldt to the Centre of Antwerp.

  • Classic, view from the west bank on the city is gorgeous. Curiously enough scarcely catering to the west bank.
