  • It's a long pedestrian tunnel under the river. That's it really but interesting all the same. I suppose. A bit hard to find the entrance as it's not beside the river and there's not a whole lot to do ...  more »
  • Nice to by walking, alone or as a date or just to get to the other side. There you can then walk on the side of the Scheldt and enjoy the sight of Antwerp. Lot of fun as the Thunder is.

  • Subfluvial tunnel is very close to the historic centre, so you can go on foot. From there you can cross to the other side of the river and have a beautiful panoramic view of the old part of Antwerp, in the viewpoint of the Park. It is free, and cross it return takes less than 40 minutes. There is a lift and escalators, and it can be crossed on foot or by bike. They can also cross pets.

  • Walk or bike your way under the Schelde. Wonderfull construction build in 1933, but still working in all it's glory with the original parts, including the wooden elements. Must see!
  • Good way to get to the other side of antwerp. There's a view of the city was is nice but tiny. Wooden escalators. Approximately 20-25 mins walk through the tunnel.
  • Old tunnel under the Scheldt river. Perfectly preserved, including the old wood made automatic stairs.
  • Nice way to get to the other side of the "Schelde" and get an nice view of Antwerp!
  • Needs to be on your antwerp list
