Where to stay in Antwerp

Many visitors to Antwerp choose to stay in the Oude Stad neighborhood, which offers accommodations with character. The city features a wide range of lodging options including budget hostels, bed and breakfasts, private apartments, and luxury hotels. To score discounts on weekends, check out hotel chains on the city's outskirts, which cater to business travelers during the week. The area around Antwerp's central station offers the most choices. When in doubt, check in with the city's tourism bureau, which maintains a list of the best lodging prices and can make reservations for you.

  • The building is stunning once you're inside, and the shops a mix of upmarket and downmarket. Overall the appearance is like a combination of pop up stores. Visit to take in the architecture, and if so...  more »
  • Just visit to explore this beautiful building. The shops were not really worth spending time as these are mostly chain, budget shops.  more »

  • Beautiful interiors for this mall that looks more like a museum. Nice selection of shops and places to have a drink or a bite. Shops range in prices from very affordable ones like Flying Tiger to high-profile ones like Habitat
  • It is the one place that my entire family can enjoy their own shopping experiences. It is truly a wonderful place, where my kids can eat, drink and find toys, clothes and shoes in one safe space. Whilst me and my wife could do grocery shopping or simply sit down for a bite to eat.
  • Lots of shops and restaurants, interesting landmarks, ice cream. There's also a Uniqlo, if you swing that way. Not sure why they won't put one in Brussels... Must see in Antwerp.
  • Nice beautifully renovated interiors. A must see, even if you are not interested on buying anything.
  • What a surprise was this shopping place! It looked like on old castle with alle the gold ornaments, very pretty. There are all kind of different shops. We only visited the flying tiger ourselves.
