  • A must for every visitor. Many small shops in many streets. With time and leisure to go please.

  • My view on the diamond quarter, an elevated place, similar to the tale of El Dorado game where everything must sparkle and shine, where you can buy jewellery zadjoshevo shattered the harsh reality. My nafantazirovannyj diamond quarter turned out to be a little want, located across the road from the railway station of Antwerp. All diamond quarter is a few houses on the perimeter, where the first floor is occupied by jewelry shops/showrooms. From unusual here is that owners-Orthodox Jews, for whom it is amusing to observe how they complete their attire going on bikes in their stalls/out of their shops (we have the hotel was opposite-and this picture we saw every day). I have involuntarily has increased significantly compared to the famous Ponte Vekio in Florence, where jewellery shops at times less, but the place itself and the atmosphere of the place make it a magical place. Now about prices. Good and beautiful jewellery and especially original is expensive, so make no mistake about deshivizne. Budget tourist here will buy exactly the same goods for the same money as some Sunlight in Russia. The quality certainly will be better, but for me-diamond dust-she and Africa diamond dust, not visually distinguished among themselves. For what it's worth here to go is for originality. But let me stress once again-having money!

  • The diamond district is for me one of the areas where past and present come together. The numerous shops show a good image of the diamond trade in Antwerp. It has traditionally been the Jewish quarter and reflected on sabbath. It seems to be a city within the city with its own character. For those who loves diamonds can certainly succeed. Our granddaughters vergaapten itself to all smile smiles are not aware of the waaarde. Close the shutters in the evening as many shop Windows makes the district to clean and what expired. The charm you should really search during the day.
