Antwerp's Port, Antwerp

(3.9/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
Visit Antwerp's Port to see one of Europe's busiest ports. Second only to Rotterdam's port in the total freight shipped per year, this hub bustles year-round. Tour the area by walking along the promenade near the docking stations. The port is just a hop, skip, and a jump from the city's main shopping district. If you're stopping here on a cruise, you'll be able to tour this district and maybe even grab some fresh seafood near the water. Consider a visit to the engineering museum located on the port, where you'll learn about the important economic role the attraction has played in the city's history. Make Antwerp's Port a centerpiece of your Antwerp vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Antwerp trip itinerary maker.

  • Antwerp has an important port. In addition, you like walking along the Scheldt and via the Anna tunnel to the "left overflowing". From that side you have good views of the Harbour and the historic architecture of Antwerp. You can also visit the port with one of the excursion boats

  • Walked slowly to the North of the city. Could see the building of ships navigating in the sea and on the other side. Close to the Museum. In the summer the wind is a little stronger.

  • Antwerp is the second largest port in Europe for international maritime shipping and world class. The goods are also stored, repacked, dispatched and then distributed to their final destinations from Antwerp. Is located in the central region in North-West Europe, which makes it a port with a preferred location, offering excellent access to the main European industrial centers and a great potential consumer base. The landscape of the river is beautiful, and the city views makes it worth the visit. The port you have the view of the MAS-Museum Aan de Stream and also the views of the picturesque (old design with the modern) architectural firm of Zaha Hadid.
