The ponds are full of algae, lack of lives, d interviews and communication on the plants and fauna present. Way to make much more with such a price, € 17 for two including the parking that is paying.

Founded and designed specifically for the fabulously wealthy family de Montpellier, were her property until the year 2000, when the last of the Grand wymierajacego of the family to the gardens and the Castle you sold. Around the gardens in August rozposcieraja the wonderful views of the surrounding hills and forests. The Park is quiet, located on the sidelines. Is ideal for lazy rest, not only in the summer, scorching day. PS Just a dozen miles from the gardens lie famous Abbey of Maredsous, worth a little zboczyc out of the way and see the place, where famous Belgian beer.

Gorgeous and romantic garden There is a large dedicated car park right in front of the garden with a parking fee of 1.50 euros, which you pay with your tickets at the garden's entry. The entrance fee is 6.50 euros per adult, and 1.50 euros for the guide, which has little information besides the map. Toilets available. The map has a suggested path to view the garden which is signaled by arrows along the path itself. The garden is a mix of styles: - french: art corrects nature: very angular, perfectly defined. Think Versailles; - english: art imitates nature: the exact opposite; - italian: emphasis on creating little sceneries, each different, often involving water jet, to awe-struck the viewer. We followed the suggested path which takes you through each and everyone of these sceneries. The castle bordered by water is one of the most beautiful of those, but its interior isn't part of the visit. The sceneries are unique each in their own way. They often involve statues and water: small rivers, water stretches, fountains, jets of water. A particularity of the garden is that the fountains don't use pumps, but merely gravity to work, using the principle of communicating vessels. The visit took us, with few short stops, an hour and a half. There is a restaurant at the end of the terrace overlooking the garden. We didn't try it. Conclusion: gorgeous romantic gardens perfect for a stroll on a sunny day. Tips and Tricks: Some days during the year, they organise Venetian parades, with people in costumes greeting the visitors along the path. We didn't visit the gardens on such a day. Quite the opposite, we almost had the place to ourselves. We prefered it that way. Visited in April 2014.
