  • The gardens of Annevoie are a stone's throw from Namur. If they were in Paris, we were coming from around the world to visit! Splendid... so at least once in your life... go stroll! You will not regret it.

  • This is still live, so cannot be seen in the Castle. Stroll the landscaped grounds and enjoy throughout the four seasons. Walking trail has been built in the garden, around the course. So just enter the garden of fine still price the maintenance costs are very what I think. Is the Park I think want to see castles in if possible.

  • Beautiful gardend, stunning building, a peaceful location to relax and enjoy.
  • Gorgeous and romantic garden There is a large dedicated car park right in front of the garden with a parking fee of 1.50 euros, which you pay with your tickets at the garden's entry. The entrance fee is 6.50 euros per adult, and 1.50 euros for the guide, which has little information besides the map. Toilets available. The map has a suggested path to view the garden which is signaled by arrows along the path itself. The garden is a mix of styles: - french: art corrects nature: very angular, perfectly defined. Think Versailles; - english: art imitates nature: the exact opposite; - italian: emphasis on creating little sceneries, each different, often involving water jet, to awe-struck the viewer. We followed the suggested path which takes you through each and everyone of these sceneries. The castle bordered by water is one of the most beautiful of those, but its interior isn't part of the visit. The sceneries are unique each in their own way. They often involve statues and water: small rivers, water stretches, fountains, jets of water. A particularity of the garden is that the fountains don't use pumps, but merely gravity to work, using the principle of communicating vessels. The visit took us, with few short stops, an hour and a half. There is a restaurant at the end of the terrace overlooking the garden. We didn't try it. Conclusion: gorgeous romantic gardens perfect for a stroll on a sunny day. Tips and Tricks: Some days during the year, they organise Venetian parades, with people in costumes greeting the visitors along the path. We didn't visit the gardens on such a day. Quite the opposite, we almost had the place to ourselves. We prefered it that way. Visited in April 2014.
  • Expensive and currently undergoing repairs. All flowers are gone... probably best to wait next year to visit...
  • amazing place. Something wonderful after every corner.
  • Beautiful and tranquil. Worth a few hours to see this authentic masterpiece of working 17th century fountains and landscaping.
