Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Vitebsk

(3.8/5 based on 75+ reviews on the web)
Discover Slavonic musical folklore at Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk. During the festival, the center of the city changes into one huge fair with overcrowded streets and constant music playing. The bazaar features an international song contest, a children's song contest, cinema and theater shows, open-air exhibits by modern artists, and artisan fairs. See the summer amphitheater--the main concert stage of the festival--which is very colorful on performance nights. The main participants are from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, and countries of the former Yugoslavia. The first festival was held on July 18th, 1992. • In the year 2016, the Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" celebrated its 25-year anniversary. This Festival is no exception, about which you can say until you see-you will not understand. It appreciated not only Russian artists and singers, but also many European, yes stars world scene .... Organization of the Festival at the highest level. But that's not all. For many years the Festival has become impregnated and absorbed such a diversity of cultures of different countries and peoples, with all that could keep his multi-faceted nature of Belarusian. And it's all created such a "volatile mix" Fairyland of colours, great polyphony from which dizzy. Come-you won't regret it. Downtown in a large RADIUS becomes a pedestrian-only zone for a week. "city of masters" is thousands of pictures on all city streets, the master of pottery, weaving, blacksmith's crafts, furriers and konovaly have launched their workshops in the courtyards and squares of the city. And all these crafts in Belarus managed to save. Representatives of different countries and peoples will amaze its cuisine. Them with each year becomes more and more. On this holiday, you can talk endlessly. And yet you will see the House-Museum of Marc Chagall, who was born and became an artist in Vitebsk. (80% of all paintings by Chagall are devoted to Vitebsk period of his life). You will see the cottage (Museum) Ilya Repin, which he bought on the Bank of the Western Dvina and loved to go to Dwinsk edge (bought after selling its summer residence famous painting "Zaparozhskie Cossacks writing a letter to the Turkish Sultan). Did you know that "old man Hotabych" hails from Vitsebsk? The House in which was written this book too. Vitebsk has preserved, restored and enlarged the memory of all his great countrymen. We had even in transit. He lived here for only two days, when he was returning from Moldova in its reference in Mikhailovskoye. Do we have a lake. No wonder Belarus zovuk Siniokoj. (number of lakes we lend only Karelia). All ... Focus. I have so much I want to tell you about this city and its people. See you. Come Tell For detail. SIM bow. Your Haidar, a native of Southern Kazakhstan, whom she married a wonderful belorusochka and took to themselves in Belarus ... ...
