(65+ reviews on the web)
Architectural Building
See a replica of the famous cross of St. Euphrosyne--a national symbol lost during World War II. The six-armed golden cross, decorated with enamel and precious stones, served as an ark for the storage of Christian relics. The monastery bears the name of its patron--the daughter of a prince of Polotsk and one of the 15 patron saints of Belarus. Learn about the life of this 12th-century nun who built churches, transcribed books, promoted literacy, and sponsored art. The remains of St. Euphrosyne were transferred from Kiev to this monastery, which she founded in 1910. The monastery also features a late-19th-century neo-Byzantine cathedral. • This 12th-century church with frescoes. The Church had changed after the appearance such as front (that and by the Jesuits), there are remnants. Showcases the looks of 12th-century frescoes peel off later. Take Russia, if people in for free since. Or in beech planks between the pillars of the internal and, it is quite interesting.

  • The calming atmosphere of the monastery in honour of the Holy Heavenly patroness of Belarus Seraphim of Polotsk-the first thing that draws your attention, getting behind the gate of the monastery. Beautiful, well-groomed territory, magnificent temples, murals of the 12th century, the nuns with love related not only to the monastery, but also to the people visiting it-all this is a very pleasant and spiritual picture.
