Nesvizh Castle, Nesvizh

(600+ reviews on the web)
Specialty Museum
See how one of the most important clans of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania lived at Nesvizh Castle. This World Heritage Site was restored to its original 16th-century appearance in 2004. The complex features a palace, a town hall, a craftsman’s house, two monasteries, and a church. See the coffins of members of the Radziwill family, made of birch and marked with the family's coat of arms. Walk through the English garden, or sit on a bench with the view of the lake. Look for a statue of a mermaid with two tails--a legendary local water nymph. See Nesvizh Castle and all Nesvizh has to offer by arranging your trip with our Nesvizh holiday planner.

  • A distinctive feature of this castle, unlike those that we visited in Zap. Europe, the inside is just as interesting as the outside. Worthy of a Museum, an interesting story guide. The monument is contained in excellent condition, money for restoration spent sensibly. Near the park with Lakes.

  • Very interesting excursion within the tour weekend in Nesvizh. The castle is gorgeous, perfectly restored, learned a lot of new and interesting things about the history of the region and of the names of the Radzivily's family, as well as usefully spent time walking around the environs of the Castle. I advise you to come here in the summer, I think here is far more interesting in terms of nature walks in the Park and around the city.

  • In Niasvizh went on the advice of my Friends in Minsk! For tourists there are 2 options to get bus and Train. The bus dropped immediately since there is no ticket and walk clumsily. ... with regards to time. Chose The Train. The train departs from the Art Institute of culture (has the same Metro station). Because I did not have time to 9 40, went to 11 16! Let's go to the station Gorodeya! It's about 2:00! Fare 1.65 kopeks (53 Russian ruble), an empty Train;) From Gorodeya drive bus to Nesvizh, usually bus docked. I waited 10 minutes, no more. Travel by bus 1.20 UAH (38 rubles). The bus arrives at the bus station g. Nesvizh. In advance of the ticket back! I have unfortunately not so much time had been on a walk-about 2:00 ... I therefore immediately went with tourist sites .... Started from the Town Hall, then to the arch, then ozerku to the Castle, there's also bought tickets for entrance (13 rubles-420rublej. Of course not needed in the Castle 30 minutes and an hour and a half. I feel good that I train read the Guide). Back left for 4:00 pm bus ... Gorodeya station. Elektrichka in 16 54! In 18 49 I in Minsk)

  • Very attractive for tourist and contains many elements which can appeal your brain. A good place for day spent and to learn about the country and its history.
  • Looks very beautiful at any side, from any angle and in any season. Interiors have been renovated and don't look old. Great old park is around the castle.
  • This Belarusian castle is fantastic. It is more interesting than most English catles, and it is comparable to classical Welsh castles.
  • Very good place
  • a nice castle with picturesque surroundings and an exposition inside, also quite good souvenir shop inside and around
