Nesvizh Castle, Nesvizh

See how one of the most important clans of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania lived at Nesvizh Castle. This World Heritage Site was restored to its original 16th-century appearance in 2004. The complex features a palace, a town hall, a craftsman’s house, two monasteries, and a church. See the coffins of members of the Radziwill family, made of birch and marked with the family's coat of arms. Walk through the English garden, or sit on a bench with the view of the lake. Look for a statue of a mermaid with two tails--a legendary local water nymph. • Great and fast way from Minsk. Overnight at the Hotel Palace in the castle was by the way. The holidays have had many visitors and we went in the forefront. Pleased theatrical skits in the Castle. It was interesting and children (10 and 13) and adults. Recommend to visit with a guide.

  • Good afternoon! Want to share impressions about the trip to Belarus. We decided to partner with in the new year holidays to visit Minsk and its outskirts, gets acquainted with the legends of the Radziwill princely family, who lived on this earth in the 16 century. It is amazing when you see the decoration and construction of their Castle, imagine their life and culture. However, the impression would be incomplete if we haven't been lucky with guide-a young girl who possesses encyclopedic knowledge, is able to convey to the listener with the historical details, good organizing group cares about comfort each tourist-Duko Eugenia. If you are lucky and your group will be accompanied by Eugenia is the success of your trip. I wish you good impressions from rest in Belarus!

  • An awesome place to go! No wait to get inside the Palace (arrived 14:00) and saw tons of interesting, fascinating elements inside. They have the English guidebook inside the store that explains each room in good detail and provides maps (right next to Exhibition entrance). Biking one hour cost only a couple of BY if you want to sweep the entire property. You will have plenty of time, just watch out for pedestrians, people will always move as you slow down. I would definitely go to the local town south of the Palace, they offer some neat souvenirs.
  • Nesvizh Castle is one of the places that is well worth the trip to visit when in Belarus, it is well maintained and ongoing restoration has rebuilt missing structures. You could spend 1-6 hours here depending on how much detail you wanted to go into. A cafe and restaurant is inside the castle with reasonable prices and there is another one outside. The park that the castle is located in is very peaceful and an easy walk around.
  • После закрытия охранник разрешил зайти во двор посмотреть. Из минусов: несколько комнат пошло под ресторан, еще какой-то кусок под отель. Вот так у нас относятся к истории.
  • Good to be here, so awesome place! Nice and wonderful. This is a place for 3-6 hours min. A lot of things to see! You can walk around, take a bicycle, or boat. There is nice park.
  • Beautiful castle both from the outside as the inside! Well preserved and maintained. Seems to be one of the popular place to get married during the weekends.
