National Library of Belarus Reviews
Именно так бы я охарактеризовал Минскую библиотеку. Шикарная! Были здесь с женой и старшей дочкой 5 лет назад. Понравился музей рукописной книги, где представлены древние рукописи! Также, в библиотеке... more »That's exactly how I would have described the Minsk library. Chic! Been here with his wife and eldest daughter 5 years ago. Liked the manuscript museum, where the ancient manuscripts! Also, the library is very large reading rooms, and, of course, books-plenty of them there. There is also a large observation deck, where you can see the entire Minsk. The construction of modern, but very cozy and pleasant!
Просто невероятно шикарная иллюминация. Снимать приходилось на длинной выдержке и со штатива (но есть его нет, то можно разместить аппарат на лавочке, которых в изобилии). more »Just incredibly chic illumination. Shoot long accounted for exposure and Tripod (but there is not, then you can place the unit on a bench, which are plentiful).
Kommer du från flygplatsen så kan du inte missa Minsk bibliotek när du rullar in. Ligger granne med ett stort köpcentra som heter Dana mall. Provade först att försöka besöka själv biblioteks delen.men... more »If you are coming from the airport so you can not miss the Minsk library when you are rolling in. Is located next to a large shopping mall called Dana mall. Tried first to try to visit self library part. but it requires registration so that I quickly forgot away;) But I recommend that you go around to the back and buy a ticket to the 23rd floor and contained therein (see also coffee and a bit of exhibition boards) sorry so spöregna it when I was there but it is very nice view of Minsk. Was there in the evening and the whole building is illuminated in various different colours and patterns. Don't miss this
Although far from the city center, the library is an easy ride on the metro (even for someone who speaks no Belarusian, like me). It’s completely worth it, as around the back of the library you can pay to go up to the 35th floor to see the surrounding view of the city. Beautiful!!!
plus: this is a library. it's all.) minus: this is one of the worst buildings in the world! And this is a fact! If you don't believe me, come to this place at night and look at this horror. Also, nobody hasn't been canceled the Soviet mentality and the attitude to you.
The building is quite unusual but inside the place is very well organized. When I went there was not much for foreigners But they still had foreign newspapers.
The observation deck entrance is at the back side of the building. Paid some fee, climbed the lift. The deck is overlooking the city of Minsk. Very beautiful view from here. There's a cafe and rooms for art exhibition. At night, we waited to see the light spectacle. Beautiful illumination. It's worth the wait.
