Gorky Central Park, Minsk

(3.7/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Stroll under the canopy of trees at Gorky Central Park, the oldest park in Minsk, dating back to 1800. During Soviet times, the park changed its name from the Governor’s Gardens to the "park of culture and recreation after A.M. Gorky," a famous Soviet writer. Rent a rowboat or paddle on the river which runs through the park. Have a snack at one of several cafeterias on the bank. Attractions include an amusement park, an observatory with a planetarium, and an ice skating rink. A 56 m (184 ft) high Ferris wheel offers a broad view of the city. Plan your visit to Gorky Central Park and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Minsk itinerary builder.

  • The Park is very large, many progulivanija tracks. All very pure, no papers either by the abandoned okurka. In Minsk people bred, cared about their attractions. In the park there are a lot of children's attractions, very interesting, children riding in them much. There are many larechkov you can buy coffee and tea and a tasty milk drinks. Cotton candy sweet too. Struck huge largest Ferris wheel, would love to ride on it, but we had no luck that day it repaired and we can enjoy its appearance. There is a pond with their utochkami there a lot and you can feed, hand already. My husband and I met in the park for an hour and a half, the time flew by unnoticed.

  • Worth a detour to see this lovely children's park, great to see how their children are catered for, lots of amusements and entertainments as well as a lovely park
  • Very well maintained and clean children's Park. It reminded me of parks from my childhood. Green. A lot of trees. Plenty of benches for resting. The territory is big. On the territory of the embankment, Planetarium and Observatory, many rides, Ferris wheel, monuments and busts. Very good location for walking with children and alone. Multiple inputs and outputs. Located not far from the town centre next to the circus and victory square along Independence Avenue. Pleasant journeys.
