  • Great building, where everything is related to the great war. Vehicles, uniforms, weapons... will passing room in room, up to the release of Bielorrusia.tambien on the armed forces and security of the country. Not as big as the one in Kiev, with less material Museum, but impressive also. A thriller and historical tourism lovers alike

  • Yes, much hero worship, much propaganda on the roof blowing even the Soviet flag, but all in all a well-made Museum, which vividly, perhaps even to apparently shows Nazigräuel in Belarus.

  • Had a rest in sanatoriums and nurse advised to visit this museum. Very nice, as you can see, the new and spacious. Presented a large exhibition. A lot of foreigners. 8 rubles a ticket is cheap, and resemble slowly and see there is that. For photographing it is necessary to pay, but I think it's unnecessary. Before us was steam, zakazavshaja Guide. Pretty much told and shown. The last floor under the dome-beauty. I will not write much, words cannot convey, got to go watch and read. Photo uploaded.

  • World War II museum. Glorifies the USSR's version of WWII. Worth checking out though. Not a lot of it is in English though.
  • Pretty good museum, but if you need English audio guide you will be "impressed" it looks like they hired student girl to record her voice and it's sound awful, in my opinion of course)
  • The collection is quite a lot , more than I expected. It's a good place to understand the history.
  • Great place to learn about history of World War II
  • Nice modern museum, recommend visiting it if you're in Minsk.

Where to stay in Minsk

The funky town of Minsk is flooded with cool hotels and chic apartments to rent, many of which can be quite luxurious. Renting an apartment is a great option--and if you are traveling with a group, you can keep the cost per person down. While bed and breakfasts and guesthouses are not quite as popular in this city, you can find affordable lodging at the nice but less expensive hotels that may sacrifice location or amenities. Most hotels and hostels will arrange to register you as a foreigner with the police. If you rent an apartment-style accommodation, make sure to check in advance whether or not your host will do so. Without registration, you can stay in Belarus for only five business days.
