  • Now here is a historical and archaeological museum. Come on the tour many times in high school, and now with the kids. Recommend a visit! See a lot of interesting things about the history of Grodno and the surrounding area.

  • When you pass by the old castle is sure to have a look inside. After overcoming a remarkable ladder deep into the Castle, your attention will be brought sufficiently rich exposition of the Museum. The prices are ridiculous even on Belarusian measurements: rouble 3 adult ticket, students, pupils, etc. 2.4 ruble. Here exhibits related to the history of Grodno (materials from excavations, costumes, weapons, jewelry, ...), flora and fauna of this area. Halls help reproduce the various stages of the history of these places. Separately, I want to highlight the exhibits of taxidermy (stuffed birds and animals). Huge collection of birds and animals of various sizes I admired (elk and bison especially). Recommend to visit. It seems to me that anyone can find something interesting. Even just support the Museum would be good. P.s. when the exhibits of the flora and fauna, read decals. Something that may surprise you;)

  • Unfortunately, except for the type from a viewing platform, nothing interesting. Furthermore, the building is not in the best condition. Impression of misery and self-pity. What do. Expecting more

  • Very interesting museum. Wide national exposition that covers the history of the place from ancient times to the Soviet period. This exhibition is not only about history but presents local flora and fauna too. It is highly recommended to visit.
  • Beautiful place, I agree with nizheskazannym, inside a very interesting Museum. I cannot fail to mention once again the beautiful panorama that opens simply from under the ruins of the residence. The castle itself and the ruins are located on a hill, right on the precipice. So you can sit on the brick ruins and dangle your legs straight into the abyss. This spectacle is breathtaking, you can go.

  • Residence of Stefan Batory in Grodno. The building is situated in an elevated location and connects with other land-bridge. The hill with beautiful views of the river Neman and the modern city of Grodno. The residence is a great Museum to surprise not only devoted to the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Duchy (the building was erected even vitaut), but also other topics, in particular the great patriotic war of 1941-1945, which of course is quite interesting, but in my opinion just a tad inappropriate. The Museum claimed that, before the death of Batory wanted to be buried in Grodno. However, contrary to his wishes, after his death, the King's body was brought to Warsaw. Summing up will write a decent Museum. Perhaps, the kind built by someone does not seem impressive and a little interesting, but I think that inside the Museum your opinion will change right away.

  • Great place for city excursions, including historical Museum and an observation deck with an overview of the city. For students and schoolchildren have discounts on Museum admission tickets.

  • A symbolic place for Grodno! Visit required! Consider that during the week closes after 18-0000. It is not very convenient for tourists. In the rest of the stunning historical monument of architecture. And the remarkable species Neman River!
