Observe colorful geometrical ornaments and crosses made of stones and tiles on the exterior walls of Kalozha Church Boris-Gleb Church. This 12th-century church is distinguished from other Orthodox churches by its building and decorative techniques. Walk on the majolica floor made of yellow, green, and brown plates. Notice numerous ceramic pitchers built into the upper part of the walls. The southern wooden wall replaced the old brick one, which was destroyed by a landslide. Look for fragments of 12th-century frescoes in the apses. The church has been included in the World Heritage Tentative List.
