Brest Railway Station Building, Brest
(3.9/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web)
See a Neoclassical waiting hall in its original 19th-century design at Brest Railway Station Building. The Russian emperor, Alexander III, led the opening ceremony from the platform of the new station in the summer of 1886. The architectural complex was damaged during the two world wars and has been restored several times. Notice the red Soviet star that crowns the highest tower of the complex. A big portion of the large square in front of the station serves as a parking lot. The station also features a modern waiting hall, built in 1975. • Built after the war, the station retains its atmosphere. There is a café and restaurant, a spacious waiting room. The Liaison Office. A bit unusual that the trains come on ... side (side on Belarusian).

  • Very thoughtful station, lost probably will not work. Very clean, there is a rule of representatives, but they don't bother with their presence and thereby creating confidence in its security. There are no beggars and other vermin, as at all railway stations, for example, Ukraine.

  • a station large enough with a dual latin and Cyrillic cool to catch the good train... a quick tour around is friendly
