Learn about the heritage of Barbados as you tour Arlington House Museum, a three-story, 18th century white colonial house turned museum. Step inside and talk to locals on the ground floor to learn about their business and crafts. You might see them out around town later on. The rest of the museum is dedicated to slavery in the country, featuring pictures and interactive screens that educate you on topics such as the island’s first settlers, the plantation system and sugar cane on the island, and the importance of Speightstown as a leading port and trade hub. By using our Saint Peter Parish trip generator, you can arrange your visit to Arlington House Museum and other attractions in Saint Peter Parish.
