  • Whenever I'm home, Oistins is my Friday night spot, di lime sweet - though I often visit just for food during the week too! Uncle George's is my spot! Great value for money. Everything is always done to a high standard
  • I was there on a Saturday night. I didn't find the place is worth going if you are staying far away on a nice beach as the cost of cab and food cost will be almost as much as eating better food at a restaurant near your hotel. We stayed at The Lone Star which has amazing food. Also, the vibe at Oistins Fish Fry is probably appreciated by people who are from the west. Doesn't impress people from Asia or those who travel a lot and have seen such places. The place is crowded and is generating lot of trash on the island for sure.
  • You cannot go to Barbados and not go to Oistins on Friday night! And every night! This has become part of the culture and spirit of Oistins fishing village! The fish options are great and the taste of the food is even better. The local service is amazing and the entertainment is lively! You don't have a full Barbados experience if Oistins is not part of it! Go here! More than once!
  • The food from Rosalind's is the best. Ask for Ronald! They usually serve fried Marlin with a variety of sides. French fries, fried plantain (delish), sweet potato, breadfruit (seasonal). The fish is fried over an open flame.
  • I had fried flying fish at three different shops at Oistins, and each was outstanding. My favorite spot was "Good Eats", where we had the chance to chat with the chef/owner several times. So delicious. Also, the big night on Friday is a blast, but even on other nights you can catch a big public karaoke, which was hilarious. Loved it.
