  • What an enchanting place. We did a walking tour of the coco hill forest. Our tour guide and owner of the forest Mahmoud was filled with amazing details of the plants and the history of Barbados. The tour was around 2 hours taking us up to one of the highest points in Barbados.Great way to spend an afternoon. Will definitely be going again and with friends to show them another side of Barbados other than sea and sand.
  • The views were amazing on this it's a great opportunity to see Barbados from the highest points, our tour guide was very warm, friendly and gave us lots of knowledge on the tour. Would highly recommend
  • This forest therapy is unique to Barbados. A wonderful dense retreat that allows for full immersion with and appreciation of nature.
  • Just drove through, would like to come back for a hike. Beautiful scenery
  • Mahmood was awesome and great to spend a few hours with, learning about his vision of creating a sustainable permaculture forest on the island. At first it can feel like the project is still finding its feet but after a few minutes speaking with Mood you can tell he really wants to start something different and positive for the island. His knowledge of plants and vegetation is┬ávery impressive as well as his passion for the project shines through with every question answered. It was a true delight to talk to him, he is a fascinating character whose life has taken him from film to farming. He really does make you feel welcome as he opens up his vision to guests and you do get a sense of privilege for the time and experience! He has big hopes for the future of agriculture on Barbados and we cannot wait to see him accomplish it! This was our best experience on the island and it's definitely different from other 'gardens' on the island (hunts/Andromeda), you do get immersed into a real wild rainforest. If you love nature, have an interest in ecology or environmentalism this is well worth a visit. It's also a great spot to get lost in and just learn a little more about the vegetation and food history of Barbados with great all around views!
