Accra Beach, Christ Church Parish
(4.4/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
With a combination of exciting surf and calm conditions, the turquoise waters of Accra Beach allow you to relax in paradise. Protected by rocks, the gentle waters of the southern end provide perfect conditions for snorkeling and less experienced swimmers. Meanwhile, the waves along the northern end are conducive to water sports, including body surfing and windsurfing. Take refuge under the shade of a casuarina or sea-grape tree, or relax on a chaise lounge. Nearby, stalls sell clothing, jewelry, and handicrafts. Buy some local cuisine and drinks at small kiosks, including the locally famous tiki bar. Using our custom trip planner, Christ Church Parish attractions like Accra Beach can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Love Accra..everything there you need..however can I ask that people do not pay the people with the monkeys to have photos taken with them. Sadly one was killed by his owner very recently. Unfortunate...  more »
  • Been staying there since the sixties and it has always been know as Rockley Beach. Just because you build a hotel and call it the Accra should not change the name of the beach!
  • The beach is paradise, water nice and warm, clear and we found some baby turtles swimming out to sea, what an experience. Try swimming just before the sun goes down, brilliant.
