  • Great day long beach escape on Carlisle Bay. The water was beautiful and the entry includes a snorkel adventure and a food/beverage credit. The swing, slide and trampoline were fun for all ages.  more »

  • If you are traveling on a cruise or just to Barbados in general I would highly recommend stopping for a day at the Boatyard. It costs $20 a person, which for what is included is really reasonable. For starters, it is one of the nicest beaches I've been to on my last cruise. Had awesome play sand, no rocks or seaweed. Also had the clearest blue-tint water of all the places I visited. There was FREE wifi and a FREE complementary drink at the bar, there was also a full restaurant, rope swing, two water trampolines, two basketball nets, a beach volleyball court, chairs and umbrellas were included, and they take you on a boat to go snorkeling where we saw a couple large sea turtles and a few huge sting rays, as well as numerous fish. Overall it was amazing and you can stay as long as you want and once you are done they transport you back to your ship or hotel all included in the $20 entry fee.
  • While I can understand they are running a business, their policies are asinine. After a long walk on the beach, they wouldn't allow my 94 yo great grandmother sit at a picnic table for 2 minutes while someone went to get the car because she was too tired to continue walking. I'm in Barbados at least twice a year and used to spend hundreds of dollars here during my visits. I recommended this place to virtually everyone I know who was visiting. After this, they're blacklisted. I could MAYBE understand if we were just a bunch of troublesome kids but to shoo a 94 yo woman is plain low. I will NEVER go back to this place. They're nice when you have a wrist band but they will literally turn away the elderly for the sake of a dollar. I hope no one ever treats the owner's mother the way the treated my great grandmother. DISGUSTING!
  • Amazing experience! Went on a Saturday afternoon. Many beach chairs so good selection options. Polite staff. Reasonable food prices. 100% chance I'm going back here.
  • Great place... Value for money. Here you can relax on the beach with chairs and umbrella, go snorkeling to see a wreckage and sea turtles.. great experience. Definately will recommend this place to others
  • A favourite destination for my wife and I on our Caribbean cruises. Walk down to the boatyard from the ship and enjoy the gorgeous food, cool drinks, beautiful sandy beach and glorious blue sea. Get there early to ensure that you get sunbeds and then book yourself on the trip to swim with the turtles. Transport back to the ship is available all day, included in the entrance fee. Great staff who can't do enough for you.
