  • This was our second visit to Mount Gay and the tour / tour guide were excellent on both occasions. We really enjoyed the tour(s). However, the shop is awful. T-shirts were a jumble and the only sizes ...  more »
  • Our guide, Tina was the best! She was very entertaining and knowledgeable...as well as very generous with poured tastes of various Mt. Gay rums.  more »
  • Had a great rum tasting experience! We didn't go for the full tour, opting for the shorter 1hour experience. In that hour though we had plenty of delicious rum and learnt a lot about the history of Mo...  more »

  • My wife and I had a great time at the distillery. Our tour guide was incredible. You can tell he definitely loves everything about rum. Pleasant employees all around. The tour was fun! I would highly recommend giving this place a visit if you are into rum.
  • We had a fantastic tour at the Mount Gay Visitors’ Centre whilst on a cruise. The tour guide was friendly, humorous, knowledgeable and personable. The rum tasting was lovely (especially being a rum drinker anyhow!). The Centre arranged for a member of staff to look after our disabled daughter while we enjoyed the experience. To finish off, the cocktails in the bar were delicious and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for a great start to our adventure.
  • Great funny yet informative tour with plenty of booze to fit. The location is quite remote and industrial but that doesn't take away from the experience, it's worth the trip. The staff and service are great and the bar is (of course) well worth the visit. Three of us booked a one hour tour which took place in a small group which made it much nicer to interact. Though I will say, if you are not a big rum drinker, drinking straight rum for an hour may be a challenge... If you are heading to Barbados though, I would say it is one not to be missed... go and sample THE oldest and finest rums in the world! You won't be disappointed.
  • The tour, the drinks and the staff were amazing! The lady that have us the tour was very funny and courteous, she made our day. The rum tastings were very informative and educational. As an FYI, buy the rum there, it is the cheapest you are going to find, not even in the cruise ship. Food was amazing as well, totally recommend the flying fish cutter starter and the chef was very helpful as well, they had our food prepared and waiting for us at the end of the tour as we requested since we were late to go back to port. Amazing people!
  • Our tour guide Tina was really nice, friendly and funny. The staff overall were nice and smiling as well interactive with my friends and I. When you arrive you are able to buy rum and other memorabilia by Mount Gay. The tour is an hour long and you are given a rum punch at the beginning. It teaser really good. You are shown the history of Mount Gay, the items used to make the rum and the pots where they are produced. After which you'll watch a short documentary about the history of distillery and the best part is last. You get to taste the different rums produced! We had a great time. We will be back!
