  • Barbados is Mount Gay rum. History begins tour with welcome drink. Go upstairs watching the movie for about 15 minutes and learn the history further. And it is my favorite tasting. Served three kinds of rum, but none are easy to drink and delicious it is. I was to the faint aroma of banana and have.

  • Went on the Mount Gay Rum tour as part of an excursion from our resort. I really enjoyed learning the history behind the rum made at Mount Gay and the process they use to make it. Our tour guide was quite personable and informative. He was also able to answer many of the questions that were asked. It was also nice being able to taste many of their various offerings and even one that was only available here in Barbados. We tried a few of their various mixed drinks which were all good but unfortunately did not have time to taste any of their food offerings. If you're in Barbados, I would highly suggest doing this tour even if you're not the biggest fan of the rum as the history behind it is very intertwined with the history of the island itself.
  • Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The history and relics were fascinating. We were given many delicious recommendations for drinks to be made with the various types of rum. Bar staff & tour guide were friendly and helpful. Bought some rum to take home.
  • Went in with high hopes but left feeling pretty disappointed. I paid $70 to do the rum tour with the lunch included. I was a bit disappointed with the fact that you don’t really get to see any of the rum making process. In essence you get to taste 5 rums, watch a 7 minute history video and then have a standard buffet lunch. For other options on the island for the same price you can get a better deal elsewhere. Better off buying a bottle of rum and drinking on the beach.
  • The Tour of the Mount Gay Rum visitor centre was a really good one!! they are well the very knowledgeable about the history of rum and then also in the end you get to do your own cocktails which is a lot of fun! I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn a little bit about the history of rum in Barbados and also what's have a little bit of fun!
  • A great day out, such as fun place to visit.... And that's even before any rum! Great drinks and a really entertaining tour, I forget his name, but the tour guide was fantastic, such fun. Thanks to all there!
