Bath Beach, Bathsheba
(3.9/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
Take a stroll among the striking rock formations of Bath Beach, a strip of coast with a lot of character. Bordered by green grass and palms, the mostly sandy beach has some stoney areas and a bit surf on the ocean. On-duty lifeguards ensure everyone's safety, while clean, well-maintained restrooms make this a convenient, family-friendly spot. You can also take advantage of the cafe and shaded areas for picnicking. Plan to see Bath Beach and other attractions that appeal to you using our Bathsheba tour planner.

  • Wanted to take my sis there. I was there 20 years ago and just couldn't describe the beauty of the area. Told her she just had to see it for herself. We took the bus and the schedule was just right.
  • Unusually for the east coast, this beach is partly protected and has a calm shallow area. It is quite peaceful most of the time, but can get busy on national and school holidays.
  • Reaching the East Coast was an Odyssey for us, we were on the second day and a little misplaced we took the more difficult route. You must first go to the South and take the highway, don't try to traverse the coastline in the middle part of the island or you will get a good lost time. Signage in Barbados is very bad and the roads are full of holes, be careful if you rent a small car, follow the (few) signs which take you to Atlantis Restaurant. But worth the penalty, is a place with a view splendid, very quiet, ideal to take photographs and go a little, can park in the Bathseba Park very easy. Don't let's go.
