  • It is one of the historical and eventful places of Manikgonj(District). This palace is well preserved and beautiful. It has big ponds at the front as well as inside the palace(King's pond).Low cost tickets. etc.
  • Nice place to visit. Road from Dhaka is also good. Parking for vehicle is limited for few of the cars.
  • Historical Place. Calm environment and yet many things to see. Sitting for a while right on the staircases beside the pond is very refreshing.

Where to stay in Manikganj

Manikganj offers few accommodation choices, with just a few hotels scattered around the district. Across the river, Faridpur provides a couple of fairly standard hotels and guesthouses. Dhaka, on the other hand, features the range of accommodations you'd expect from a capital city. The main hotels lie to the east, and offer lakeside luxuries and side-street simplicity, with good access to the city's main sights, and just an hour and a half from Manikganj.
