  • The Park is one of the most beautiful areas of Dhaka with a lake and beautiful green. The Park was established already centuries ago in an area once comprised of forests and is home to notable trees of many varieties. There are various activities and is a relaxing place.

Where to stay in Dhaka City

Hotels in Dhaka are among the world's most affordable, but due to a lack of tourist infrastructure you should plan ahead to avoid misunderstanding. Most of the upmarket hotels group in the downtown area, while budget hotels cluster in Old Dhaka. There is a wide range of room or apartment rentals and guesthouses, though some areas impose restrictions for renting out to foreigners. If staying long-term, explore options in Gulshan and Banani, north of town.
