  • This is the Planetarium in Dhaka. When I was in town, the local colleagues, I have spoken of a planetarium very modern but never got a chance to attend a presentation. However, intrigued, I went to see it from the outside and it's a nice architecture.

  • This place never gets old, that large screen on all directions inside the dome make the galaxies and planets look so real. There's also that 4D simulator, where they play rollercoaster moving through pharaohs tomb, and many other exciting videos. There's even a military museum nearby, you can visit that one too if you're still left with some time before it gets too dark. This place is a must visit for anyone, even tourists. But don't try the food here, they'll steal your money!!!
  • It's one of the most valuable visiting place in Dhaka city. It feels I am watching space live. There are capsule simulator, smart step floor and 3D video's are available. The planetarium added a Nuclear Industrial information centre.
  • I always have a good time when I go there . The place is nice and clean. Really liked the 5D simulation ride. But I do think more things need to be added for entertainment. Specially the documentaries need to be changed and updated. The food is quiet pricey. Wish there was a good cafe with reasonable price inside.
  • A good educational place for astronomy within the city limits. Architecture of the site is amazing. also known as Novo theater, this place can do much better with some expert guidance, especially in the cleanliness segment of the place.
  • The planetarium was designed by architect Ali Imam. The Planetarium dome simulates Earth and its cool blue sky. This dome-shaped theater was built with the latest equipment, enabling visitors to soar into space as well as experience the thrills of an interplanetary journey in a three-dimensional environment. The curved ceiling represents the sky and shows moving images of planets and stars through projection onto a large-screen dome at an angle of 120 degrees.
