  • The Sundarbans- UNESCO Heritage site. It is the world's largest Delta formed by three major rivers. Spanning over a huge huge area in the India Sundarbans is the largest Tiger Reserve and National Park in India. It is one of the most attractive places remaining on Earth and also a must destination for birdwatchers.
  • It's a place of peace just kidding. It's a great place to get connected with nature. So many animals and birds and especially the Royal Bengal Tiger. Grrrrrrrrw! It's a mangrove forest and a heritage of UNESCO.
  • DO NOT GO if all you care to see is a tiger. The mangroves, beautiful as they are, are very tough terrain to spot a tiger in. GO if you want to appreciate a wild and wonderful place, which is truly magic at dawn & dusk. There's lot to see and appreciate if you know what to look for and who knows... if you are lucky enough, even the king might just give you a glimpse! Creature comforts and luxury hotels are missing here but that is exactly what makes the Sundarbans a special special place.
  • Sundarban has a major impact on the economy of Bangladesh. It supports a large community of fishermen. It also supplies a major source of income to the farmers and people who use timber and other resources from the forest to support their families, making a living based on the natural resources from the forest. Recently, there has been more awareness among people to save natural resources and more real forest management and preservation plans have been implemented. Currently, wildlife protection and preservation agencies are actively guarding these natural resources.
  • Most of part of #sundarban are in #Bangladesh. it's not only world largest mangrove forest but also a magical place where you can see and feel the real wildlife scenery and the strugling fisher man life style.it's a paradise of natural beauty and wildlife & obviously royal Bengal tigers are it's pride..
