  • An excellent place to visit. Beautiful, educational, and thought-provoking art. Highly recommended. Definitely a must-see place.
  • Definitely worth the visit to acquaint oneself with The Bahamas' fine arts scene. Staff are friendly and welcoming (not always the case throughout Nassau).
  • Our family all enjoyed this visit. Beautiful building, nice collection, well curated. Excellent interpretive material.

  • Beautiful gallery. Happy I stumbled upon it! nice walk up from the cruise ship. Some really wonderful artworks by Bahamian artists through the centuries are on display. Highly recommend!
  • One of the best places to find authentic Bahamian art!
  • Besides seeing a beautifully restored Bahamian mansion, this display of art, much historical, some contemporary, is a special treat and delightful interlude from the tourist hype and common venues. We re-visit each time we return to the island. There is a lovely gift shop with many handmade items and very good historical books on The Bahamas. The history of the house in itself is interesting. With the low $5.00 admittance price ($3 for seniors and students), this should not be missed. ..M Kane
  • Nice art gallery. I Loved it!
  • Housed in the historic Villa Doyle, built in the 1860s and lovingly restored in the 1990s, the NAGB preserves the National Collection of Bahamian Art, part of which is on permanent display on the ground floor. Upper galleries engage the history of Bahamian Art and Visual culture and support contemporary movements and experimental contemporary art practice through temporary exhibitions. The NAGB also has an extensive public program schedule, community and regional projects and partnerships, arts education workshops, and a free public art library.
