Spend some time on Junkanoo Beach, a public beach near Nassau's port. Convenient if you're visiting Nassau on a cruise ship, the beach offers a variety of amenities like bars, restaurants, and shops. Rent a beach chair and relax with a coconut drink, or get snorkeling gear and head to the nearby reef. Browse the stalls for snacks and charming souvenirs, go paddleboarding, and enjoy a meal from the bar and grill. • The beach is a good choice for those with little time in Nassau. In our case the ship arrived too early with output forecast to 2:00 pm. Despite being next to the port, including with a view to the ships at berth, has transparent water and is very quiet, no waves. Have chairs for rent and also room to stretch the towel of the ship or its cover without paying for it. There are bars with drinks and food. And on the way back to the port has a Señor Frog for a strategic stop and enjoy a margarita.

  • Very busy beach. For those who like to be bothered, is the place. In Nassau has beaches on the same level with no one to bother you.
