  • Even though I am Bahamian who lives on the island of New Providence, I always like to experience the various tours that are offered here. After doing some research, I decided to try the Island Food Tours. Friendly, warm and knowledgeable are a few words that I can describe my tour guide, Arthur. He is awesome! Our first stop was at the Shoal restaurant and I must say that their stew fish was delicious! Our second stop was Drifters, located at the Fish Fry (Arawak Cay). This restaurant gives guests a down home atmosphere with its decor. The peas n rice, cracked conch, conch salad and sky juice was excellent! Left me wanting more! Our next stop was the Daq Shack, their daiquiris were so refreshing and they offer many flavors using our local fruits. The last stop was Graycliff Chocolatier, a chocolate factory that makes artisan Bahamian chocolates and the chocolates were simply rich and divine. A perfect way to end the tour! So if you are in search of a tour that lets you experience the mouth watering goodness of the Bahamas, please try Island Food Tours. You won't be disappointed!
