Cabbage Beach, Nassau

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
2.8/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web
Take a trip to Cabbage Beach, a stretch of coastline that has become popular with sunbathers and watersports enthusiasts alike. Try your hand at boogie boarding on the waves, but take extra care of small children, as the sea can get rough. The sandy expanse has enough room for people to pursue their own interests, with the west end of the beach much busier and active than the quieter east. Be prepared to be approached by vendors, hawkers and hair braiders working at the beach. Most are harmless, if a little persistent, but make sure to negotiate a price for anything you wish to buy. • Fabulous Beach, with calm waters, warm and transparent. There is no infrastructure on the beach, such as toilets and showers, but there are those who rent chairs and umbrella, around 30 dollars traded (we rent 2 chairs and 1 umbrella). The big problem of the beach, are people who are playing in the water with jetski and boats, very close to bathers, which makes diving dangerous.

  • Beautiful beach. The typical Caribbean beach with a few waves and a beautiful blue color. Stay in Paradise Island.
