Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, Great Exuma

4.8
#1 of 7 in Wildlife in Great Exuma
Since 1958, the mangrove haven of Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park has remained a protected park with a strictly "take only photographs, leave only footprints" policy. The tropical location showcases floating epiphytic orchids and magenta bromeliads, while Bahamian hutia rodents are the only native terrestrial mammals. A number of sea birds fly overhead, and many colorful Stromatolite reefs and schools of fish can be found just off shore. See the swimming pigs, feed nurse sharks, and snorkel or scuba dive to take in the protected marine community here. We took the tour with Four c's and we did the full day for $180 head + $10 to head down to the dock of sharks. However t pass to get to the hotel approximately at 7.30 Because then at 9 we start from the extreme north of the island at a time of the cays exuma! The sea travel lasts much, about 2:00 because everything away! Seen the private Islands (although apart from the photos nn see much) then Thunderball grotto (where they made 007!) with snorkeling for over half an hour, nice colors and nice scenery ... much fish! They make all the equipment and onboard beverages are included ... Lunch instead paying! Then stop by the sharks that are a nice porticcino and there you can swim or do only photos!! Then stop by swimming pigs ... beautiful!!! pity that you arrive with a thousand other excursions and then there's tr people!!! their t give bread to give it you attract them! X cagano overboard yuck!!! Then the 13 stop on a sand bar with breathtaking colors! Then lunch break and still island where there are iguanas...li we also found giant shell!!! However, be sure the hike ... These are two young boys very kind and very cute ... help to get on and off the boat also prevented like me! Then the boat is pretty, sheltered and nn we never jumped! Great guide!! Cost much but the other even more ... just because they give the conch salad to the sand bar!
