  • It is a very beautiful area, is well-kept. Offers a variety of shops of local products, jewelry, stones, watches, liquor, tobacco, etc. You can also find a "Pharmacy" selling everything you need basic for a tourist. They make shows some days of the week. I liked it and I recommend it.

  • Walking distance from the resort. Many boutique stores with a straw market (flea market) next to it with many local vendors selling souvenirs and other tourists "must have"
  • It's a good place for shopping souvenirs and eating. I enjoyed walking and visiting the shops. You can find some good deals in some of the shops...others are a little pricey. Good local restaurants. S...  more »

  • Everything was tagged "made in China" I didn't want to visit China, and I certainly didn't pay to good money to be bombarded by garbage. On top of all the made in China garbage, the prices were through the roof. Do NOT choose Freeport as a port of call, or stay on the boat.
  • A good way to spend an afternoon. Many shops and stores you can go look through. The best attraction here was the wide variety of restaurants. Went to Agave for dinner one night and it was amazing. The crab cakes were some of the best I have ever had and the entrees were equally as good. I would love to leave them a review but I can't since it doesn't show up on google maps. However the market place as a whole is a fun afternoon.
  • The mosaic was beautiful.. It's very close to hotels, the casino, and the beach.. The shops had lots of wonderful one of a kind items.. The shop owners were sweet and had reasonable prices.. Need some souvenirs in Freeport? This is the place.
  • Nice place to spend some time and lots of money $$$$$. MrsTree had her hair braided and beaded here, yep, like I said $$!!! We also was able to get some nice souvenirs here.
  • Loved the atmosphere, everyone is super friendly. But one place stood out above the rest. Eventhough their are over fifty shops to browse, everyone claims to have the cheapest and best merchdise but ENAs STRAWMARKET booth #41 was the best. She was friendly, honest and reasonable. She wasn't pushy and made us a deal we couldnt pass up.
