  • Great place to get your Bahama souvenirs. There are street vendors and stores, plus lots of restaurants.  more »
  • The atmosphere of the place is cozy and you can make boat trips from there. In addition you can access a public beach right next to the site. Prices for products on the site but are not of the best. The market has some typical local products such as rum cake, souvenirs, and some duty-free products whose cost is not as advantageous as in other places.

  • We were on a cruise ship and this was one of the ports. We got off the boat to catch our dive charter and was hounded by people in our faces begging for money. After our dive we planned to explore the...  more »

  • This used to be an amazing place with great atmosphere, lots of fun and cool places to be but now is almost a dead zone, the main hotels are shut so there are no tourists and a couple of scrappy places fight for those who are left. The largest subset of clients are the shipyard workers who sit on the ground taking advantage of the free WiFi, without spending any money in the shops, bars or restaurants. They look like the asylum seekers you see in civilised countries and the USA
  • Met a lovely local vendor in this marketplace. Found the cheapest cocktails here too. Shopped with the nicest lady, a local, who gave a good deal on souvenirs.
  • It's a nice place for our visitors as well as locals to visit. Very relaxing and nice. Great shopping and food.
  • Great place to find local artists, cheap souvenirs, and excellent food options. Here you can find the best Cuban cigars as well! Please note: most shops close around 5p or a little earlier based on the shop. Going early in the day is best.
  • I mean if you are going to Grand Bahama I am sure you will end up here at some point for food or drinks. Just go in everywhere and see where has the ambience that you are looking for and the type of food and drinks you want. The prices are close enough to the same it doesn't matter. A few bars don't do the 2 for $ whatever the price is up to now beers so just keep that in mind. Also VAT and gratuity are almost always included in your bill so before you tip that 20% look at your bill and make sure you ain't tipping 20% on top of a 18% you have already been charged. I mean unless you just like throwing your money to folks and tipping 38% for what is subpar service at best, everyone is very friendly and just wonderful people but living in the US and in the south, I personally feel like customer service is a big issue on Grand Bahama Island.
