Glass Window, Eleuthera

Categories: Geologic Formations, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web
See the Atlantic Ocean meet the Caribbean Sea at Glass Window. At the narrowest part of the island, a man-made bridge links tiny North Eleuthera to the rest of the island. The bridge replaces a natural rock formation that was destroyed in a hurricane. Standing on the bridge, you can see the dark waters of the Atlantic come together with the turquoise Caribbean Sea in a striking natural contrast. Observe the turbulent ocean melding with the calm sea and capture some postcard-worthy photos--just be wary of the waves when on the bridge.
