It is a 19th century Palace which has been well maintained and restored. It now houses a museum on 2nd floor. The best room to see is the middle room which has all glass work on its walls and ceiling.... more

This Khan Palace is literally 2 steps from Masoleum of Momine Hatun (main monument in Nackichevan) so you will visit it anyways. Palace is nice but unfortunately it was burned previously by Russina...

The palace of Khan Nakhjivan is located in the city of Nakhchivan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, belonging to the 18th century. The architectural style of this building is the Nakhjivan architecture school and has now become a museum. I met the museum with Mr. Ramzi, who was the museum's guide. Very well, I introduced the different sections of the museum. Since I do not know Turkish, Mr. Ramzi has been very patient in various sections. Khan's house is located near the Tomb of Khomein We went to Marand to get to Nakhichevan in the morning and set off our car in the parking lot of the city of Jolfa. Passing with our passport Hamoon entered the hall with the payment of exits from the country and checked documents passed from the border of zero. Passed from the bridge under the foot of the river Aras. We got into the Nakhchivan, there we paid a toll and we reached the city of Nakhijvan with a taxi.
