One of the most iconic landmarks of Nakhchivan is without doubt the Mausoleum of Momine Khatun. The ten-sided structure, adorned with intricate mosaics and tilework, dates all the way back to the 12th-century, when it was built by the famous architect Ajemi Nakhchivani. Its construction was commissioned by a local ruler, Shamsaddin Eldeniz, in honour of his beloved wife Momine Khatun. Momina Khatun was wife of King. So it's a queen's tomb of 12th century. Underground burial chamber is also accessible

It is a great place in Naxcivan and its landmark. I visit it two years ago. It was terrific place. Momine khatun was the wife of Naxcivan ruler. He made this place as a memorial of his wife but he died before the bulding making finish. His son continues his fathers made.
