  • Nizami street very nice place to walk and shop, the street have a lot of shop, cafe, restaurant, malls and stall shop. Its nice to split night time and the street always crowded  more »
  • Indeed this part of the street Nizami (at home called Trading), located between Rue Rashid Behbudov and fountains, is the most lively part of the city. This part of the street is closed to cars, which allows having a comfortable walk. Located on the street k/t, Veten is a young spectator's Theatre, Opera and Ballet Theatre, Theatre near Behbudov and Sadiq Nasimi, while Russian Drama theater is located overlooking the Malakanskij garden. Here, many clothing stores, perfume and souvenir shops as well as cafes and restaurants, which are open until late at night. In the evenings the street very nicely illuminated as wall lamps and huge chandeliers. Because here till 3-night people do not stop to stroll and relax. Across the street you can get into the wonderful Fountain Square or in the old city of Icheri Sheher, which left the individual reviews. The only drawback of this street is the absence of amateur musicians and living statues (mimes) with whom you meet on the streets of Europe.

Where to stay in Baku

Baku's emphasis on architectural diversity--and its fondness for constructions that put all previous buildings to shame--has yielded a range of accommodations. Look no further than the waterfront high-rises for contemporary luxury, or take a peek at the more storied surrounding boulevards for 19th-century class, with grand hotels and stylish boutiques set in Baroque and neoclassical buildings. A smattering of budget-friendly hostels and guesthouses lies throughout the city, particularly on side streets close to the main attractions and train stations.
