  • Is the train climbs to the top of the Hill of martyrs ' square, ride 1 AZN per person and get off the only drawback is the lack of time given to climb up or down depends on the employee's mood, waited patiently for nearly 20 minutes while boarding down we didn't wait for something from the bottom to the top flight takes almost 4 minutes Arabs At the neat and clean

  • Ordinary relsovo-cable funicular, with modern cars (principle of one wagon down the second climbs). Friday afternoon times in 20 minutes. Cost of 1 manat to one side. We went upstairs, the cashier at the entrance does not work, paid cash back at the turnstile. The climb takes approximately 2 minutes. The upper right point of the Tower fire, left the mountainous Park with panoramic platform to Baku. Back down descended on foot along cable road. Conclusion: go upstairs stands on the funicular railway, descend on it doesn't make any sense unless you fall off the feet of adventures.

  • Connects the Mountainous Park (where the Alley of martyrs, the eternal flame and Flaming beauties towers) with specification of the oilmen, which stretches along the waterfront of the Caspian Sea. The modern funicular carriages, Austro-Swedish company DGG (CWA Constructions). Run with an interval of approximately 30 minutes, but we do not have to wait. The fare for these wonderful sites just 1 manat (approximately 35 roubles) funicular to 10:00 pm. The cable car we only went because the Flame Towers (write about it separately for those who haven't seen earlier) and the alley of martyrs, we climbed on foot, admiring the beauty of the city at night. But if you walk the stairs in 182 of the step you are lazy, you can and climb (lower station is located near carpet Museum and little Venice on the waterfront). The nearest metro station to the cable-Icarisahar, and a bus stop near the Palace of hand games. From the bus stop to go a couple of minutes from the Metro for a little longer. Our trip was in the evening, the yard was the month of November and so nobody waited for filling cars fully before sending, while saying, in the summer, when many people clogging podzavjazku wagon.

Where to stay in Baku

Baku's emphasis on architectural diversity--and its fondness for constructions that put all previous buildings to shame--has yielded a range of accommodations. Look no further than the waterfront high-rises for contemporary luxury, or take a peek at the more storied surrounding boulevards for 19th-century class, with grand hotels and stylish boutiques set in Baroque and neoclassical buildings. A smattering of budget-friendly hostels and guesthouses lies throughout the city, particularly on side streets close to the main attractions and train stations.
