Kitzsteinhorn, Zell am See

4.6
#1 of 136 in Winter Sports in Austria
Ski, snowboard, and hike on the wide glacial slopes of Kitzsteinhorn. Use the railway to reach the summit at 3,035 m (9,957 ft) above sea level. Find the logbook in the cabinet attached to the iron cross, and leave a personal note. Trek down the sides of the mountain, but look out for snow holes and slippery slopes. Enjoy music, drinks, and snacks at the bar or the huge sun deck at 2,500 m (8,202ft) above sea level. The snow park features various rails, tubes, wall rides, and kicker lines for beginners and pros. Some tracks occasionally close because of strong winds. See Kitzsteinhorn and all Zell am See has to offer by arranging your trip with our Zell am See route website .

  • For the first time at the Kitzsteinhorn, impress us at the directions the Organization of parking spaces. The ascent to the Summit with different cable cars was a first and more than impressive highlight. In weather, we enjoyed the wide and excellently prepared slopes. The panorama and the Valley looks are in memory keep us long as photos and serve the recommendation.

  • My first trip over 3 thousand meters. Took the bus from Zell am See to Kitzsteinhorn. Space dei two gondola ane went out a little creepy looked. The trip to the top went fine. Visited the lookout plateau and it was a great view. We were lucky with the weather, both days we were there. There are many muligheiter for food and drink along the trails. Ski conditions on were fantastic breden. In Sell am Zee was already Easter lead and slush at the end of the day. Here was the dry fine snøv a total of the day. The Trail marking system was very wide and well prepared. As the famous stovegolvet. All in all, two wonderful days
