  • The castle is very nice and neatly restored, the view is fantastic. The guided tour of the Interior was interesting, while short and crisp, without boring lectures (from the viewpoint of the children of course). Great also the bird of prey flight show. Caution with baby strollers, with although this can lift up, but then must you leave it again. Are neatly lots of stairs everywhere, and where not, since it is really steep. For babies so take better Baby Sling. Older children going away again here hardly without wooden sword, they are namely in the shop.

  • The castle is in a strategic position at the top of a hill. In addition to air very well maintained, the visit is made in a guided tour, which I found interesting. The Castle offers other activities also, such as simulation of battles, Toad, and falconaria. I really enjoyed.

  • A beautiful castle or fortress as it is called in the SalzburgerLand. Dominates the country Werfen and get there even in funicular. The castle is well kept though a bit bare of furniture. Avoid like the plague the inside restaurant. Then at the end of the guided tour with audio guides, if you plan well, you can watch for half an hour at aerial pirouettes of various birds of prey guided by trainers; all within the grounds of the Fort itself. Particular account when you visit, see birds of prey including a vulture, makes the most special memory.

  • Great views over the valley and interesting historic tour with information about the usage of the castle from being a royal hunting lodge to its role in the peasant uprising. The guided tour is mandatory but worth it. Didn't see the falconry as we were running short on time but the rest was already worth it.
  • Saw the castle on our way to Eisriesenwelt (Ice Caves) and took photo. Have to come again to visit the impressive medieval castle and watch the falcon show.
  • Loved this place, well looked after, good staff and plenty to see. The falconry show is the best I've seen with upto 5 Eagles in flight at the same time.
  • Quite nice Austria castle... 15 minutes from main road by foot, so you can quickly reach it.
  • Beautiful castle, funny tour guide and spectacular bird show. Worth a visit!
