Swarovski Crystal Worlds, Wattens
(1.5/5 based on 1,700+ reviews on the web)
Enter Swarovski Crystal Worlds, an underground museum, through a hole in the hillside and step inside a massive crystalline theater. This attraction was created in 1995 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Swarovski crystal company. Designed by multimedia artist Andre Heller, the crystal museum encompasses art, music, dance, and literature into one overwhelming experience. "The Giant," a face landscaped on the hillside with crystals for eyes and a water fountain for a mouth, greets you as you approach the entrance of the museum. • Organized tour, program: morning downtown for Christmas markets and afternoon visit to Swarovski Museum. I put two stars because the price is too high: 17 € and € 19 for individuals. When compared with the Swarovski shop downtown where you enter for free is still garner the price is outrageous. The Museum is big, huge store and has external path but the stuff offered to visit is especially ... properties in led or neon that I did not understand what on, strange little show that nothing were the product of this famous factory. Even the exterior has been poor. I loved the Tower, but definitely suitable for young people above 20 years but nothing more. The Museum, in and out of turns in 2 hours and is situated about 5 km from the Centre. Not very suitable on rainy, has trails for the disabled and parents with stroller

  • Emotional Museum with an intriguing path based on crystals and use them with very nice ideas in art.
